Chat support found a solution
Joyce Ann helped me via the chat box and remote control. Really helpful support. Unfortunately, we did not entirely fix the issue, but we found a quick and easy workaround which suits me. She suggested a reinstallation of the software and after 40 minutes, was happy to spend longer to help me do this, but it would have taken too long - and the workaround is fine. First time I've used Trend support and found it to be a good experience.

First of all, want to say "Thank You" to Vanessa, You are awesome. During the installation had an issue with previous av software (some temporary system files which did not give me to install Trend Micro properly.) Asked for support of Trend Micro. The technician Vanessa quickly quided me what need to do and my problem was resolved. Even I am not their subcriber yet! Great job , 5/5 !
The best protection
The 1st protection (after Nobton, macafuc, )I've installed that doesn't bombard me with emails and pop ups trying to scare me into buying MORE extensions that I thought were part of the deal. They do what they say on the tin. Nobton etc are always trying to get more money from you when you only need Trend micro.

Good service but some issues when I was installing. I got the "latest" version from their website, when installing it still redownloaded the "latest" version. when installation completed it found a new update and installed in once again! some weird stuff but service is good and extremely cheap!
DO NOT USE
Do not use this it is absolutely awful. I have been using the Chrome extension and it was meant to warn me if a site was a scam or not and it did nothing so I thought ok, then into the new year the parcel still hadn't come and I found out it was a scam. They clearly don't care about people otherwise they would have alerted me to the fact that the website was a scam.
Trend Micro Antivirus Software
Downloaded their Antivirus Software for my elderly MacBook. Run the installer and once finished launched the application and was told the software cannot be run inside my OS version. Further research exposed that there is currently no Antivirus Software available for my MacBook from Micro Trend. I attempted to cancel my order and apply for refund on their website and via their UK subsidiary Digital River UK, without success. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

i have used Trend Micro for the past 5 years and have just renewed again for another 3 years it keeps my computers safe and advises me on any scams on fake emails etc-- plus you can get protection for up to 3 computers at no extra cost -- it is the best i have ever used

Das Programm hat mein Laptop total ausgebremst. Die größte Frechheit war jedoch, dass einfach das Abo verlängert wurde obwohl ich dies in meinem Konto deaktiviert hatte. Dies wurde anscheinend von Trend Micro wieder aktiviert ohne meine Zustimmung. Der Betrag wurde einfach abgebucht. Habe Beschwerde eingereicht - mit Erfolg. Dieses Programm und diese Geschäftsgebaren nie wieder!

Uanset at programmet måske er en god antivirus, så overskygges det suverænt af at det er mega besværligt at framelde sig automatisk fornyelse af abonnement. Det er klam markedsføring at binde kunderne på den måde.
Absolutely Worst Anti Virus Software
One of the worst online services,totally unprofessional using misleading methods to sell the product to public, once product was purchased there's no possibility to manage your account , you are being dispatched with defective links, few weeks before product expiration they charge automatically your credit card etc. The software keep opening warning windows upon every action online , stay away from this company
Sad Trend Micro let Mr down after 20+ years
I have used and been very happy with the security I received from Trend Micro Internet security unti November 2022 update when it suddenly started taking up all my PC's services, thereby rendering my PC useless. I have uninstalled and installed a different antivirus now my PC works normally again.
BEWARE OF OBFUSCATED WEBSITES
The absolute first thing that tells me to stay away from this company, is their website. When you have to hunt/search to see the product details and pricing something is defiantly wrong! Trend Micro website has to be in the top five of the worst websites!
